About the Percussion World Duo
In 2014, nine-year-old Benjamin Barham-Wiese and ten-year-old Elisha Jimenez met, they were both percussionists. They soon became best friends and had lots of fun playing, exploring and teaching each other new percussion techniques.
One year later, Elisha Jimenez decided to take it to the next level, and make contemporary percussion viewable to the public. They decided to call this project “Percussion World.” They soon created a YouTube channel and website, and now play birthday parties and concerts regularly around New York’s five boroughs.
Also, be sure to check out their two series: Benjamin’s Mystery Improv and Percussion Laboratory. Please consider making a contribution to this small organization.
